Dolphins welcome us to Ascension

We had a great entry to Ascension last night with spinnaker and dolphins. It was magic. The anchoring was fun as we saw pipeline in the water in front of us as we were coming in at night. So we went all the way around 1hr a line on the chart that looked like it could be a pipeline. Then we anchored and when we checked the chart again it looked like we were on another line so up anchor and try again. After two hours we were finally settled and drinking a tea with a big bar of chocolate.
This morning was customs and clearance. It was much more relaxed than St Helene. The family went ashore this afternoon, all 6 of us in little our little tender. We seen lots of turtles and trumpet fish, much to the joy of the kids.
Now for dinner with the crew from Borderline, another boat, who has been sailing with us.
Current position: Ascension.
